• Apply Weleda Nipple Balm as needed and after each feed. Gently pat the skin dry and/or allow the breast to air.
• Apply a small amount of balm to the nipple and areola to moisturise and protect the area.
• No need to remove the balm before breastfeeding.
• Sore and damaged nipples may indicate a problem with the way the baby attaches to the breast when feeding. Get in touch with a breastfeeding/lactation consultant or health professional if the problem persists.
