• For everyday cooking:
  • Use a spoonful of Broth of Life Organic Tallow instead of olive/vegetable oils to fry or sauté eggs, stir-fries, or searing meat.
  • Toss potatoes, pumpkin, or root vegetables in melted tallow before roasting, as they come out crispy and golden.
  • Use it for steak, chicken or fish. It has a high smoke point and may not burn or leave a bitter taste.
• Baking: You can use it for baking pastry & pies for a flaky texture. It can also be used as a substitute for butter or shortening while baking biscuits and scones.
• Meat uses:
  • Spread tallow on chicken or beef before roasting for extra crisp skin and flavour.
  • Melt it and spoon it over grilled meats to keep them juicy.
  • Mix a spoonful of tallow into lean mince for juicier burgers.
• You can use it for homemade popcorn, fries and chips, and for greasing pans to season and prevent sticking.
