Hydralyte Electrolyte Powder may help with rehydration. It may help replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, and occasional hangovers. It contains no added gluten, or artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. It is available in compact and lightweight sachets, which may fit easily into small handbags, wallets or pockets for convenient use.

This powder is available in different flavours, including Apple Blackcurrant, Colour-Free Lemonade, Orange, Watermelon Burst, and Fruity-Bliss Multi-Flavour Pack (containing sachets of Orange, Passionfruit Punch, and Watermelon Burst flavours).

Direction

  • Fill a cup with 200ml of fresh, cold drinking water. For babies under 6 months of age, use freshly boiled and cooled water.
  • Empty the contents of one Hydralyte Electrolyte Powder sachet into a 200ml cup of water and stir until the powder has dissolved.
  • Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
  • Discard unused solution after 2 hours, or 24 hours if refrigerated.
  • Do not mix it with cordial, fruit juice, soft or sports drinks.
  • Drink this powder when thirsty or exhibiting signs of dehydration.
  • If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.

Active ingredients: glucose, citric acid, sodium (from sodium chloride), potassium (from potassium citrate)

It contains 160mg of potassium and 210 mg of sodium per 200ml dose. The quantity of sodium per maximum daily dose is 4.2 g.
