Panadol Optizorb Paracetamol 500 mg (16 Caplets)

Direction

• Dosage from 12 years of age and adults: Take 1-2 Panadol Caplets with Optizorb every 4-6 hours with water as required. Maximum dosage: 8 caplets in 24 hours.
• Dosage for 7-12 years of age: Take ½ - 1 caplet every 4-6 hours with water as required. Maximum dosage: 4 caplets in 24 hours.
• Do not use it for more than 48 hours for children aged 7-17 years or more than a few days at a time in adults, except on medical advice.
• Keep to the recommended dose.

Warning / Safety

• Keep out of reach & sight of children.
• Store below 30°C.
• Do not use if any of the seals on the packaging are broken.
• Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
• Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol or hydroxybenzoates.
• Do not use it if using other medicines containing paracetamol.
• Do not use it in children below 7 years of age, except on medical advice.
• Ask a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney problems or are taking warfarin (a medicine used to thin the blood).
• Stop use and see your doctor immediately if you have an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking it.
• If an overdose is taken or suspected, contact the poisons information centre or go to the hospital immediately, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated.
• It contains hydroxybenzoates as preservatives.
