Direction

Bloating and Flatulence

• Mix a teaspoon of Pure Eden Activated Charcoal Powder in a glass of clean drinking water.
• Stir well and drink the entire glass.
• Follow it with another glass of water and the gas should subside within 10 minutes.

Poultices

• Mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of Pure Eden Activated Charcoal powder with a little water or oil to form a thick paste. It should be moist but not too crumbly or drippy.
• Spread the paste on half of a paper towel, loosely woven cloth, or piece of gauze cut to fit the area treated. When ready the cloth should be moist, and thoroughly saturated with the paste.
• Then cover the paste by folding over the other half of the paper towel or cloth.
• Place the cloth on the infected area making sure it completely covers the area.
• Cover the poultice with plastic (when available, plastic food wrap works well).
• Cut to overlap the poultice by an inch on every side. This will prevent it from drying out. If the charcoal dries out it will not be able to adsorb.
• Finish off by bandaging or taping the poultice securely in place.
• Leave it on for several hours, or better yet, overnight.
• Poultices can be left for up to 8 hours but once removed, please dispose of the cloth.
• Use a fresh cloth if you need to re-apply.

Teeth Whitening

• Dip your wet toothbrush into your Pure Eden Activated Charcoal powder.
• Brush your teeth normally, paying special attention to areas showing the most staining.
• Rinse your mouth well and even dental floss your teeth to remove any excess charcoal powder.
• For best results, brush your teeth with activated charcoal twice a week.

Facial Masks

• In a small bowl, Mix Pure Eden Activated Charcoal powder, with 2 teaspoons of water or perhaps a natural oil such as coconut or olive oil, to form a paste.
• Spread evenly over your face and neck, avoiding contact with your eyes.
• Leave for 10 minutes and then follow your normal cleansing routine.

Acne

Activated Charcoal Internal Treatment for Acne

• Mix a teaspoon of Pure Eden Activated Charcoal Powder with a glass of clean drinking water.
• Stir well
• Follow by a second glass of water.
• Take this dosage daily for up to 2 weeks. Your acne may get worse before it improves but this is the Pure Eden Activated Charcoal working its magic.

Activated Charcoal External Treatment for Acne

• Mix a teaspoon of Pure Eden Activated Charcoal Powder with 2 teaspoons of natural Aloe Vera gel.
• Smooth it over your face, avoiding contact with your eyes.
• Allow it to dry completely
• Rinse off with clean water. Let dry and rinse off completely.

Cleansing Bath

• Draw yourself a nice warm bath.
• Add 1 x teaspoon of Pure Eden Activated Charcoal
• Add one teaspoon of salt. Either Epson salt, Pink Himalayan Salt or Rock Salt.
• Add a few drops of lavender oil
• Stir the bath well.
• Immerse yourself and relax.

Insect Bite

Prepare a liquid following the below-mentioned steps and apply it on the areas of insect bite.

• 1 x tablespoon shea butter
• 5 – 7 drops of organic lavender essential oil
• 1 x teaspoon Pure Eden Activated Charcoal
• 1 x teaspoon aloe vera gel
• In a double boiler melt down coconut oil and Shea butter. Once fully melted, remove from heat.
• Add aloe vera gel, lavender essential oil, and Pure Eden Activated Charcoal powder— mix well.
• Carefully spoon the liquid into your containers. Allow to rest for 2-3 hours.

Pets

• Mix a teaspoon of Pure Eden Activated Charcoal into a paste by adding water
• Mix the paste into your pet’s wet food.
• Repeat every 2 weeks.

• Use a poultice on any cuts, infections, abscesses or rashes, and always give them internal doses to help fight any bacteria.
