• Use as part of the Nicorette InvisiPatch step-down programme.
• For people who smoke 15 or more cigarettes daily, the Australian product guide recommends Step 1 (25mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 1–8, Step 2 (15mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 9–10, and Step 3 (10mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 11–12.
• For people who smoke fewer than 15 cigarettes daily, the guide recommends Step 2 (15mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 1–8, followed by Step 3 (10mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 9–12.
• Apply one patch in the morning to a clean, dry, intact and hairless area of skin.
• Remove the patch after 16 hours, usually at bedtime.
• Suitable application sites include the chest, upper arm, hip or upper thigh.
• Change the application site daily and do not use the same area on consecutive days.
• Do not apply to irritated, burned, oily or damaged skin.
