Direction

• Use as part of the Nicorette InvisiPatch step-down programme.
• For people who smoke 15 or more cigarettes per day, the manufacturer’s guide recommends Step 1 (25mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 1–8, followed by Step 2 (15mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 9–10 and Step 3 (10mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 11–12.
• For people who smoke fewer than 15 cigarettes per day, the manufacturer’s guide recommends starting with Step 2 (15mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 1–8, followed by Step 3 (10mg/16-hour patch) for weeks 9–12.
• Apply one patch each morning to clean, dry, hairless, intact skin on the chest, upper arm, thigh or hip.
• Remove the patch before going to bed, after 16 hours.
• Choose a different application site each day. Avoid applying to irritated, burned, oily or damaged skin.
